Life Without FAAMG

I ran across an online article where the author pondered life without Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, and Google (FAAMG).

Curious article.

I never used Facebook. I don’t have an Amazon account. I own no Apple products. At home I have not used Microsoft products in any serious or productive manner in 11 years. I don’t use Google products or services, including Android.

The author mentions that ATMs run on Windows. I rarely use ATMs.

Digital assistants at home? No such privacy invasive and intrusive data mining and tracking gadgets here.

The author concludes that life would be difficult without those companies.

I must have missed the memo.
