Want to win over free/libre supporters?

Invest in WINE. Make WINE so robust that free/libre advocates start buying Windows software.
Publish full specifications for all Microsoft file formats. Word, Excel, Visio, et.al.
Compete on the merits of software design rather than file format vendor lock-in.
