Writing Style
Common themes in online Technical Writing discussions include organization and skills. Often people are placed into tech writer roles with no meaningful training and experience.
One of my common replies to such questions is creating a basic reference library. A good starter library includes:
- The Elements of Style, Strunk and White
- The Goof-Proofer, Manhard
- A copy of any well known style guide.
