Writing That Just Works

Early in my tech writing career I learned a valuable lesson: there is no room for egos.

The only goal of any writing project is to communicate. To help the users.

Good documentation is like a good umpire in a game — nobody should notice the writer. That is the most satisfying reward any tech writer can receive — the documentation “just works.”
