Updating an Old Virtual Machine

Recently observed in the house network is the local Slackware Current virtual machine (VM) disk was formatted using the MBR partition scheme. Converting the disk to GPT was straightforward, but the disk format prompted time to reflect. The reason the VM disk was partitioned using the MBR layout is because the VM was created many years ago. The system has been continually updated through the years.

Rather remarkable.
